There are lots of leaking reports in the electronic media that race driver Mark Martin of Dale Earnhardt Inc is making all attempts to move on to Hendrick Motorsports and would replace Casey Mears. Hendrick Motorsports contract with Mears only will expire next season and sources from the Hendrick’s camp say that Mears will be participating in the Sunday’s race at Infineon Raceway. Martin was running as a part time racer for the past two years for DEI. Everyone is tight lipped over this whole issue of switching teams and a clear picture will only come out after either team opens it to the media.
