Greg Biffle

The main story on NASCAR.com today draws attention to Greg Biffle in this year’s Sprint Cup Series.  Yes, Jimmie Johnson is ahead; yes, he’s ahead by 149 points.  This means, that in order to win, Greg Biffle may need to beat Johnson by as many as 39 positions this Sunday in Atlanta.  This doesn’t sound so bad.  NASCAR races have many drivers, so 39 positions isn’t all that bad.  However, keep in mind that the last time Johnson was defeated by 39 slots was in Charlotte earlier this year, when his motor went kaputt.  These are the chances for Greg Biffle.  Perhaps they aren’t that great, but it’s still a possibility; with NASCAR races, you never quite know what’s going to happen, and it’s certainly fun to find out.  Tune in for the Pep Boys Auto 500 on Sunday afternoon to see the action!

Greg Biffle, the driver of the No.16 Ford signed a three year extension deal with Roush Fenway Racing last week. The primary sponsorship by 3M also comes under the deal. Roush Fenway racing is a team competing in NASCAR racing and is co-owned by the Fenway sports Group and Jack Roush. This racing team exclusively uses Ford brand vehicles and Biffle is very impressed with the dedication shown by Ford in supporting the Roush Fenway in racing. Biffle was with the Roush team for the last five years and he is confident that Roush team is capable of winning more championships in the future and he is happy that he will be a part of that team. Tickets to the many NASCAR races are still available at the venues as well as online ticket counters.
