While the Sprint Cup Series seems to be gonig to Johnson, the Craftsman Truck Series is not even close to being done. In the 14 years that the Craftsman Truck Series has been around, there has never been a lead as slim as this. Johnny Benson holds a nominal 6 point lead over second place Ron Hornaday. While it won’t be the decisive race of the season, the Lucad Oil 150 will go a long way to solidify the chances of either driver should they pull out the victory. NASCAR.com has the full race information you need.

Erik Darnell’s joy knew no bounds when he won a tight race at Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Michigan International Speedway by beating his arch rival Jonny Benson. Darnell was cruising along in the front until an error from rookie driver Mitchell brought the caution flag up with only seven laps of the race remaining. Benson fought his way through the field and lapped a neck to neck race for the remaining three laps of the race. The fans who bought tickets to watch this truck race felt that it was worth every penny they spent. It was only Darnell’s determination and truck control that helped him beat Benson by 0.005 seconds.
