Jeff Gordon the winner of the Samsung 500, at Texas Motor Speedway, broke his 47 race drought on Sunday. With this win marks Gordon 82nd win of his Cup career and makes him sixth of all time. Gorgon who has his crew mainly to thank for the victory by helping him get off pit road first from under caution Lap 305 of 334 on the 1.5 mile speedway.  All Jeff Gordon fans knew that it would only be a matter of time before their hero with the number 24 patch would regain his title. Anyone who actually thought that Gordon’s last win at the October 2007 Lowe’s Motor Speedway would seriously need a reality check because number 24 may be down but never count him out.
