Terry Blount on ESPN is completely on point this week.  Jimmie Johnson is going to win the Sprint Cup this year, unless something goes very wrong.  Blount says we shouldn’t be bored by racing just because of that. The Rose Bowl isn’t always a close game towards the end.  Instead, he tells us, we should simply enjoy the races.  I mean, they’re races!  Each one is its own drama and we should enjoy it for itself.  Yes, the big prize is pretty much won, but the little ones are still to be won.  The next two courses are very good ones and provide lots of drama, according to Blount.  So are you going to tune in to see?  As a sidebar, Johnson is going to win his third Sprint Cup in a row in the next few weeks; that’s nothing to sneeze at. NASCAR fans should rejoice, though I can understand why it would be nice to see someone else win for once.
