The 2009 season of NASCAR will see some changes. And we’re not talking just oil changes either. NASCAR drivers, including their respective pit crews, will be subject to random drug tests in addition tot he mandatory preseason one. To keep drivers clean and safe, NASCAR will have the power to test any driver that is suspect of abusing controlled substances. This seems like a good idea considereing the nature of the sport (i.e driving at neck-breaking speeds with fans mere feet away).
