I think I know why people flock to NASCAR racing events. I think. The all encompassing and obvious reason: to see a crash. With race cars traveling at top speeds of over 150 mph and only inches apart, I would think a chance for a crash is big. The drivers draft so close that there is no room for error. Then of course, NASCAR has the race cars! Pure built race machines that sound and look amazing. Gearhead or not, the race cars are quite remarkable machines that put a lot of fans in awe.
