The No.96 Hall of Fame Racing Toyota team announced that J.J Yeley would be replaced by Brad Coleman as the team’s main driver from the beginning of the Sprint Cup race on Aug 17. Coleman has been related with the team as its test driver since late 2007. The sacking of Yeley came after a series of disappointing performance by the team. The team stands at 38th position in the Owners Point tally. Team co-owner, Tom Garfinkel, praised Yeley’s contribution to the team and said it was time for a change. Coleman is currently a driver for No.27 in the Nationwide Series with 42 starts and is currently placed 16th in drivers tally. The No.96 Toyota is ninety six points from 35th placed CNC Racing and is hoping for a change of fortunes with the arrival of Coleman.
