There are lots of leaking reports in the electronic media that race driver Mark Martin of Dale Earnhardt Inc is making all attempts to move on to Hendrick Motorsports and would replace Casey Mears. Hendrick Motorsports contract with Mears only will expire next season and sources from the Hendrick’s camp say that Mears will be participating in the Sunday’s race at Infineon Raceway. Martin was running as a part time racer for the past two years for DEI. Everyone is tight lipped over this whole issue of switching teams and a clear picture will only come out after either team opens it to the media. NASCAR fans interested in watching some absorbing races can buy tickets to these races at the ticket counters as well as over the internet.

Johnny Benson is on a roll whenever he races at the Milwaukee Mile and this is evident from the three consecutive truck series titles he has won at this evident. Benson’s last win at the Milwaukee Mile came on Friday night and is now on the leader board of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series race with Todd Bodine in the 2nd position. The drivers had to wade off intermittent rains and lightning during the race and the fans braved the anger of the weather gods to witness the race. Benson was excited about his third consecutive victory and thanked his fans for braving the rain and supporting him. The NASCAR truck series race is really hotting up and so are the ticket sales.

Erik Darnell’s joy knew no bounds when he won a tight race at Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Michigan International Speedway by beating his arch rival Jonny Benson. Darnell was cruising along in the front until an error from rookie driver Mitchell brought the caution flag up with only seven laps of the race remaining. Benson fought his way through the field and lapped a neck to neck race for the remaining three laps of the race. The fans who bought tickets to watch this truck race felt that it was worth every penny they spent. It was only Darnell’s determination and truck control that helped him beat Benson by 0.005 seconds.

The 18 year old young driver Joey Logano did his entire family proud by becoming the youngest racer in the history of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race to clinch victory. Logano drove his car No. 20 with utmost comfort and precision and his control of the car in the final 30 odd laps of the race was amazing. Tom Logano, father of Joey, was utmost satisfied with the racing skills of his son. Joe Gibbs Racing is having a good time lately in the NASCAR circuit. NASCAR fans have a new star to cheer for and they are sure to buy tickets to watch races that feature Logano.

Brad Keselowski’s reputation among the NASCAR race drivers went up a notch after he maintained his leading position for more than six laps to win the first place in the Nationwide Series race at Nashville Speedway last Saturday night. By virtue of this win, Keselowski becomes the 7th first time winner at Nationwide races held at Nashville Speedway and raced at Nashville for Dale Earnhardt Jr. Brad’s fans would have really enjoyed watching him race at Nashville and would be eager to grab tickets for his next races as well. Keselowski said that he could take a lead over Clint Bowyer only due to the yellow light glowing at the end of the race. 

NASCAR drivers are having a hard time this season with Kyle Busch around; since he is currently in the mood to win every other race, with the latest one being the 400 mile race that he won on Sunday, June 1st. With this win, he has ten victories to his credit this season, which drew a lot of praise from Joe Gibbs the team owner.

Kyle Busch is turning out to be a thorn in the flesh of all the NASCAR drivers as he is in the bad habit of winning most of the races this season. The latest addition to his race wins is the 400 mile Dover International Speedway race that he won last Sunday. The Kyle Busch fans, who saw the race at Dove Speedway by purchasing tickets, could not hide their joyful emotions after witnessing a super racing effort from Busch. This is Busch’s tenth race victory this season and the team owner Joe Gibbs is all praises for his champion driver. Kyle dedicated this victory to his pit crew.

 

The Joe Gibbs Racing Driver, Denny Hamlin, made the ninth victory for JGR in the Nationwide Series this season. He won the 200- mile race last Saturday at the Dover International Speedway. It was his second win in the nationwide series this year. The race was uneventful, according to Hamlin, as he was leading in most of the laps and the only surprise in the race was the sixth position attained by the debutant driver Joey Logano. Hamlin predicted a top-seven finish for Logano and earned $200 by betting with his fellow drivers about the finishing position of Logano. Hamlin said that he wishes to come to Dover Speedway in different cars. The fans who had bought tickets to watch Hamlin race got their money’s worth.
